My big accomplishment recently (besides taking down Jhen Moran finally) is getting all the pieces to the Ceadeus Z Series armor. I hoped it would be a big defense jump from the ルドロスXシリーズ armor that I’ve been wearing. It’s not that much higher. The Ludroth armor upgraded as much as I am able has 504 defense. The セレネＺ has 519 defense. Those extra few points might help in a pinch.

I was able to counter blunt edge by using a charm, so I didn’t have to sacrifice sharpness. I have a different charm that gave me +5 to sharpness, but apparently you cannot raise sharpness beyond +1. Boo! I would rather have used a gem to add sharpness since I have 8 slots to work with, but I was unable to find a sharpness gem. I don’t know if I was looking for the wrong thing (I don’t think so) or if either it doesn’t exist or (more probably) I don’t have the appropriate materials to unlock it.

The moral of the elemental story: don’t get hit by a dragon attack. I hope by the time I face something that uses elemental dragon I have more suitable armor. But, for water monsters I’m good. I’d say I’m good against ice too, but KC and I have been trying to kill the Barioth (so I can upgrade my ice twin swords) and have been having a bad time of it. Granted it’s not usually the ice damage that kills us…
