So glad Neko let me sell in her town earlier this week. This would’ve been a meager profit week.
The big news today is that the fishing tourney is on. Today’s tourney was for a specific fish. Mine was everyone’s favorite horse mackerel. Kokuto had a river fish. I didn’t actually want to win this one because I already have the gold fishing trophy. But I get a little greedy over the fishing tourney set items and so I tried to turn in my horse mackerel one at a time from smallest to largest.
I ended up with an extra カレイ (I forget if this is flounder or the other one) table, sea anemone bed, football fish lamp, and squid chair. I am looking for a wall lamp and a television set. Anyone out there got one?
I could have gotten all sorts of different colors. If I shoot down another balloon dog lamp I probably will. 🙂
I got to choose from several different food dishes for the hot plate. I made okinomiyaki.
I need to order a lovely dresser from my catalog to compare sale prices of remade items vs. non-remade items. Anyone know if they’re different?
You can change it blue. So I did.
I never liked the pattern or color of the kotatsus. I’m excited to see you can change them now. Unfortunately I picked the last option because I didn’t know what it was. It’s kind of…awful.
The teddy bear is going to be remade as pink leopard print. I haven’t picked it up yet so we’ll see how that turns out.
Snow Family United
At long last I made a snow kid and reunited him with his family. He was pleased with my work. I expect recompense by mail tomorrow. I think tomorrow I’m going to try and make a crap snowman of whatever melted (I think the regular snowman) and then talk to snow kid again to see if I get the other item(s) for making an imperfect family.
Now that I look on the wiki it looks like you get nesting doll snow family for all perfect snowpeople, a snow rabbit for one imperfect snow person, an igloo for two imperfect snow people and a sled for three imperfect snow people. So I might be making horrible snow people for a few days if this works out…
Movin’ on Up
I paid off another part of my mortgage and made another room bigger. It’s a vicious cycle. But there’s light at the end of the tunnel for me. I only have two more rooms to embiggen. My west room and my basement are still only medium size. So about 1.8 million bells and then I’m out of the mortgage rat race.
The room I chose to make bigger is my mermaid (upstairs room). Here are a few shots of it.
