Stalk Market
AM: 123 Bells
PM: 74 Bells
I think I like that there’s variance in the prices…we’ll see.
I’m also keeping an eye on Jisuna village this week:

Public Service Announcement
It’s been 90 days since I started playing Animal Crossing New Leaf and blogging about it each and every day with only a few hiccups here and there. Doing both takes up a lot of time as I’ve whined about before. So, unless I receive a great outcry against it, or a bribe of bells or dollars ;), I’m going to slow down my blogging to three days a week. I intend to blog Tuesday, Thursday and one weekend day TBD. I will continue to post on twitter and in facebook groups whenever I post here, so if you want to know when I post, best follow me on twitter: @sosostris.
Badge Master
The badge master showed up north of my house and I made a bee line for him. He gave me the “shopping mania” silver badge.
I kept talking to him and he didn’t give me anything, but after a little while I tracked him down again and he gave me the “kind person” silver badge.

This show that the person holding this badge is compassionate and grants the requests of the residents
BINGO!
It only took all the snow daddies I had in town today, but I finally got a bingo. As a reward I got a slalom gate. I want the snow machine!
Festivale
I’m still eagerly awaiting Festivale/Carnivale/whatever the hell you want to call the holiday with the dancing peacock. Still no headdress, but I got the shirt in my store today and Kokuto generously donated the pants, so you can see what the boy version of the outfit looks like. I like the dress better.
It seems that for festivale there will be feathers floating around the village and you have to catch them with the net. Pave will request 3 of a certain color and when you hand them over you’ll get a piece of the furniture. Apparently you can trade with villagers for different colors. There’s something to do with a rainbow feather as well, but I don’t quite know what the deal is with that. Obviously I’ll find out Monday.
Villager Antics
I have no idea how my letter writing campaign is going. Two of my residents sent me presents. Sometimes they tell me I’m writing them weird crap that they don’t understand. I’m curious if when you write unintelligible letters your friendship can go down. I hope not.
Speaking of letters, I got one from mom today. She heard my house had gotten huge! So she sent me a vacuum cleaner. Gee thanks.
Kaizo’s Corner
I haven’t remade much lately.
I’m turning it green.
Guides
Kinokuniya had the guide by Nintendo Dream in stock last night and I couldn’t help but buy it. The cover is sparkly and I have a weakness for shiny things. Yeah, it has mostly the same stuff in it as the other one, but the counterfeits are much easier to see in this guide, and the villagers are in alphabetical order rather than by species, which for me is easier even though I still haven’t gotten my ã‚ã„ã†ãˆãŠ order down in Japanese…and it may just be me, but I can understand it a little better than the other one.
People were complaining online about it being hard to read and way heavy—it is way heavy as it is 623 pages plus a little pull out checklist. They also complain that you can’t scan the QR codes in it (it has several patterns in it). I haven’t tried yet. I don’t have space for them.
Kokuto thought I was nuts buying a second guide until I reminded him that I actually read those damn things while my manga sits on the bookshelf alone and unread.
You can have my snow machine if you want. It’s too big for my cramped house, and I’m kind of sick of it. It’s all yours! Oh and I’ve got the pink headdress, and there was a spare for sale in Able’s today, I’ll pick it up for you. Can I catalog the dress, shirt and pants? 😀
I understand your need to slow it down with the blogging. As you progress and things are pretty much unlocked, there is probably slightly less to report anyway. I’m not sure how all your readers are going to feel about this tho! Hehehehe!
Dear God I hope you don’t lose friendship points for sending unintelligible letters. That’s pretty much all I send!! lol
give the rainbow feather to pave for his picture. every holiday mascot has a way to get thier picture. I hope the us game would come out soon,I want to play it with my wife. does anyone know what the dolphin fortune cookie item looks like?
Aaah, I really am hoping to find these guides in the Japanese bookstores in my country.
Talking about my country, the Carnivale/Festivale is from where I live, Brazil! We call it “Carnaval”. The NL version seems super cool, I’m excited to play it haha.
