I think I’m gonna hold out even though part of me really wants to go unload for at least a small profit in Kokuto’s town.

Format?

I’m not sure how to do this that won’t just take up twice as much time…so here goes nothing. If it proves unsuccessful maybe I’ll just go back to daily with sporadic days off. Because I was twitching to blog yesterday. Instead I added flash cards for the N3. See, I’m trying to use my time productively.

Day 91 – VIP

I paid off my home loan in its entirety the night before.

Consequently this morning Lyle was waiting on my doorstep. He invited me into the VIP club for the HHA and explained how VIP status works in a very long and drawn out speech. Once you reach VIP status you can take on the “theme challenge” which takes both the exterior and interior of your house into account when scoring.　I chose to try the “fairy tale” theme since that’s what the mermaid set and exterior is…as well as the ice series and the snowman series.

I spent the rest of the day researching what else was considered fairy tale like and ordering a whole bunch of stuff. I don’t have full sets of much of anything. I thought I would order the mushroom series and the harvest series because those are both fairy tale as well, but I’m missing one piece from each: the closet from the mushroom series, and the clock from the harvest series. I don’t have any way of finding those pieces until next season. Perhaps it’s back to the drawing board.

Then I enlisted Ryuuji and made him hand over all of his lovely series since that set is fairy tale too. But I’m still missing the floor and closet… So I don’t think my score will be that great, but I haven’t felt up to consulting Lyle about it.

In between frantic room arranging I ran into Maiko chan and secretly escorted her to Jisuna village while Kokuto was at work.

Ruuji encountered Gulliver

While Ryuuji was fishing to get enough bells to buy his daily flower seeds and sapling, he ran into Gulliver. I decided to let him have a stab at Gulliver’s quiz.

That’s all he said. Maybe it’s just me, but I immediately thought Spain…but I already had the Spanish quiz. My choices were:

• India
• America
• Portugal

Portugal was the only logical choice.

Day 92 – Gulliver’s present

Ryuuji got the cock of Barcelos in the mail from Gulliver. He immediately handed it over to Yumi, but at least he got to catalog it.

Angry Mailbox!

I ordered so much crap that my mailbox was full. And I didn’t even write my townies letters yesterday. Today I wrote 8 of them because there was a notice on the bulletin board reminding me that Valentine’s Day is coming up. I want presents from my townies! Today my letters were pretty much all identical, so I hope they don’t tell me they’re all incomprehensible.

One wishlisted item down. After Festivale/Carnivale season I’m going back to being a cowboy.

Today hasn’t been very action packed. I don’t have visitors. I can’t find my second snowball to save my soul. So, I’m calling it a day.
