Lost and Found

I know it’s silly, but I’m so excited that we finally have a lost and found. I grabbed Shizue and we celebrated the completion of the “classic” building.

Hooray for the new Police Box/Lost and Found. I wonder what they'll call it in English.

Booker is manning my lost and found and he seems just as nervous as always. He apologized profusely for not recognizing me—but how could he have considering we had never met. I wonder if Resetti sent him grainy surveillance pictures…

The building is adorable and I like the little touches inside with posters and calendars and maps on the wall. I snagged a few of the items…that I supposedly lost..

Shinobu’s Present

After the party for the lost and found I talked to Shinobu to deliver something to her and she rewarded me with her picture! That’s only the second villager’s picture I’ve received. (The first was Margie’s)

Birthday Approaching

After the failure with Ryuuji’s birthday, I decided to see when I set Taiga’s birthday is. Turns out it’s March 22 (my cat’s birthday :P). Since it’s only about a month away I’ve started a letter writing campaign with Taiga requesting presents for her birthday. We’ll see how well she can make friends in a month’s time. That most likely means I’ll stop writing letters with Yumi because quite honestly I hate writing letters to townies in Japanese.

As Taiga’s first order of business—talking to everyone, she found that Lillian was sick! Oh no! We can’t have that.

Sick Lillian!

Day 104

Today is Margie’s last day in Kasen village. I wished her well in her endeavors. I wonder if she’ll end up in Wasabi village or Jisuna village or if she’ll just disappear. Bye Margie! You shouldn’t have given me your picture if you wanted to stay!

Please celebrate my starting a new life!

I didn’t have any special visitors today. I mostly spent my time saying hi to townies and fulfilling their requests—giving Yuka some cherries, delivering a a present from Nelson to Moe.

ooooh the juicyness (Yuka really liked that cherry...)

Hakase was talking about Neko from Wasabi village. He says she's a good listener and hopes she comes over again.

One of the presents I received was a lovely closet. Yay! Now I just need the floor. I'm remaking it for Ryuuji of course.

Poor Lillian is still sick and looking frightful. I gave her some more medicine.

Taiga

She paid off her very first home loan: 39,800 bells.

The book dropper turned out to be Hakase the butterfingers. He was suspicious that it had been read, but it wasn’t Taiga!

She checked in on Lillian who mentioned that Yumi had already given her medicine.

  1. Yay congrats on your new Police Station! I know you were waiting a while for that one.

I don’t know if we have a vacancy in Wasabi or not. There are ten residents. I have no idea if any of them have tried to leave or not lol. Honestly I wouldn’t really want Margie anyway, I had her in ACCF! 😛

    Get well soon Lillian!

  2. Cool police station! XD

Animal Crossing comes out June 9th for North America

    & For UK – June 14th

Just out curiousity why didn’t you just wait for the english version of the game to come out insted of trying to figure out japanese. No offense.

  3. I didn’t wait for the English version because

    1. I’m impatient
    2. I love the series
    3. I’m studying Japanese and find that games are great practice

Also, it’s fun to play all the Japanese holidays and learn about cultural nuances.
