Stalk Market: closed
Joan was selling turnips for an abysmal 106 bells apiece. I went to Kokuto’s and bought somewhere around 2500 from his Joan for 100 bells apiece instead.

AM: 105 Bells
PM: 139 Bells
I hope that’s not as high as it goes…
Girls’ Day / Doll Festival
Today was a holiday in Kasen village. Shizue was dressed up in a cute kimono strutting her secretarial stuff.
Shizue made special preparations for girls’ day.
When I talked to Shizue she gave me the Hishi Mochi.
The hishi mochi is to the right. The only item not pictured from girls’ day/doll festival is the emperor’s wig
I took pictures in Kokuto’s town with him at the cutout.
Critters
This is one of the crabs you can catch. I haven’t gotten the one that’s new for March yet which is unfortunate because it sells for 10,000 bells.

Day 117 – Monday
Today was rainy in Kasen. I don’t think it’s quite the season for snails yet. But the ground did get all squishy. Whenever I dropped anything on the ground it made a splatting noise.
Hakase is finally over his cold. He said it was all thanks to me—which it was. I dutifully brought him bitter nasty medicine every day.
Hakase is better. He gave me a mobile for taking care of him.
Gulliver’s Travels
This one should have been obvious to me, yet wasn’t. I blame the fact that I didn’t know a lot of the important vocabulary. 😛
There are a lot of ancient temples and ruins remaining in this country.
In addition, many myths were born in this country.
many goddesses appear in the myths (he went on how he hearts goddesses)
My choices were:
- Brazil
- Spain
- Greece
- America
I chose Greece, which was correct.

Day 118 – Tuesday
I saw the badge master hovering north of my house this morning so I ran to see what he wanted. He said I had invited a lot of people over to the village and gave me the “likes to entertain” badge.

Many visitors have come from other villages and you’re oozing (lol) hospitality badge.
You get that badge by having people visit 50 times. Sheesh has it been so few? There’s a community project to get the train station’s appearance changed that I really want to unlock but it requires (iirc) 100 visits from other people. Anyone want to schedule regular visits to speed this along? 🙂

I think I’m a Lillian stalker. She’s just so cute all shy that she wants a telescope…or maybe she’s a stalker….

Royal Vanity purchased
I realized I have most of the royal set so I posted the 3 items I still need in my wish list. I need the royal table, royal clock, and royal bookcase.
Of course they get the throne in when I absolutely cannot afford it
The throne is a spotlight item. It sells for 800,000 bells. I sunk my savings (meager though it is) in the stalk market this week.
I forgot to mention that Gulliver sent me gladiator boots from Greece. I’m wearing them in the above pictures, but you can’t see them very well because of the dark-colored tights I have on. I’ll take better pictures for next post.

I have a question that you probably answered before- is it possible to get seasonal items like the empress wig or the doll set from the catalog? I’d love to get the Girl’s day items but I’m pretty sure they won’t have girl’s day in the North american version. :C
Hello @turnipss, a lot of the seasonal items can be ordered from the catalog up to and including holiday sets like the harvest set and the Christmas set (I think it’s the Jingle set in English?). You can order the empress and emperor’s wigs as well as the lamp and doll display. Unfortunately the items that Shizue gives you (like the hishi mochi) are not orderable and you’ll have to rely on generous friends for those.

can you get the train station upgrade with local or is it wifi only?

Iam getting luigi mansion:dark moon to tie me over untill the NA release of AC:NL. these two games were the only reason I bought a 3ds.(and a future pokemon game)

Not to sound mean. But you actually liked the holidays in ac:ww – ds?! I liked some of the holidays in ac:ww – ds but alot of the holidays that were made up in the game were really annoying as opposed to the real actual holidays like christmas, easter etc.
Personally I’ve been playing alot of Animal Crossing – Gamecube game on my old wii.

I did find this odd about ac:ww – ds
I have all 3 versions of animal crossing:
Gamecube
DS
Wii
I don’t understand why they’d put the actual holidays in the gamecube & wii version of AC & not in the DS version. Just saying it is just plain odd.
I’m pretty new to AC been playing for a year or 2 so I can’t say I’m a veteran of the series but did do research on AC & apparently released back in 2002. Thank you @Jennifer for posting all the info & daily events on AC: NL – 3DS. It is appreciated. 😉 Been playing gamecube ds & wii version trying to ply catch up with the museums & other stuff in AC. XD
