Day 138 – Monday
AM: missed it. Blame travel day.
PM: 85 Bells
Day 139
AM: 117 Bells
PM: 190 Bells
Gah! I don’t know if I should sell my measly 800 turnips or see if tomorrow brings a bigger spike.
Misc. Ramblings
I’m home again for a few days. I got back late last night. Thanks for the dramamine tip. I tried it and it helped a little. It made me sooooo tired, but I couldn’t quite relax enough to fall asleep. I made a doctor’s appointment for Thursday so hopefully they can hook me up with something specifically anxiety related. Stupid fear. I wish I could just turn it off.
Day 138

~News~
Zipper T. is coming to Kasen village on 3/31~
Get your tools ready and come to town square!
Let’s all have fun playing!
Today the bulletin board had a message about the upcoming Easter holiday on 3/31. It said that Zipper T. (ã´ã‚‡ã‚“ãŸã‚ã†) would be coming to town and to prepare my tools. After looking at the guide, this looks rather involved. It seems I’ll have to smash rocks, shoot down balloons, dig, dive, and fish to get Easter eggs. I believe there are 6 different eggs and if you turn in one of each you’ll get an Easter basket. I think after getting the basket you eat the Easter eggs and, much like fortune cookies, something is hidden inside the egg. It looks like there are three possible items inside the egg, either a ticket that you can trade for a piece of the egg series (I hope you don’t get duplicates like Festivale, that was brutal), a special ticket with a ribbon to trade for Zipper T.’s picture, or a dud piece of candy. This sounds like fun! I hope I have enough time to play.
There were no visitors today which was well and good because I was my usual pre-flight ball of stress. I perused Nookington’s. Reggie/Lazy/whatever his name is had a bamboo shoot for sale. I already had one, and those things grow like weeds so I didn’t buy it.

Bamboo shoot to the right of me. I bought the fertilizer next to it. I’m trying to get some blue roses.
I decided that my green hair was no longer working for me so I went to the salon and got my hair done. I didn’t have a hairstyle guide handy, so I had to wing it. All I knew was that I wanted pink hair and I did get that part right.
Day 139
I had not one but two time capsules to return to their original owners. Unfortunately I didn’t remember who wanted me to bury them, so I had to ask around until I got the prompt to give them back. Upon relinquishing them, the recipients opened them, showed me the attached letter, and gave me the item that was inside. Both times I got shirts. Not that exciting.
Camper
I also had a camper in town. It was a hippo—also not one of my favorite animals. He didn’t ask to move in. I didn’t ask him to, but we did play a game which I lost. I had to hand over my emergency exit sign. Oh well.
Saharah
I didn’t bother to change anything in anybody’s room for Saharah but everybody got pretty lucky today.
I got the music room floor and the plateau (I think) wall. Both are original from Saharah.
Ryuuji got the striped wall, not original and the desert floor.
Taiga got the vacant wallpaper which is original, but is a duplicate. Trade anyone? She also got the Karesansui (traditional Japanese dry landscape garden) floor. Also original.
Meet Minori
Since no one has claimed Margie’s old space I decided to put in my final villager there. I named her Minori (Ryuuji’s crush in Tora Dora). I figured I had better have 4 characters to maximize DLC in Japan. I’m hoping to download 2 items from 7 Eleven while I’m there (so excited!). Can anyone hook me up with the rest of them? Pretty please?
Minori’s birthday is 5/5 just cause Cinco de Mayo seemed like a good day for a birthday.
And that’s pretty much the exciting (or not) highlights from the last couple days. 🙂
ã¾ãŸãï¼
I really only want my 7-11 items that are food displays (for my kitchen 🙂 ), so I can give you the other items.
Just read through your Animal Crossing updates (well, it took a few days) ~ makes me so excited to get the game in June! I wish I kept up with learning Japanese — I did play a Japanese version of Harvest Moon years ago and did pretty well, but there is too many different possibilities in Animal Crossing.
Hello! I love your blog 🙂 I really enjoy reading it and getting ideas or when the American version arrives!! Do you plan on getting the American version, or sticking to the Japanese version?

I’m so excited for Bunny Day! want to try and play together on Sunday?
