Stalk Market for Friday, May 10
AM: 71 Bells
PM: 87 Bells
Last night I ran into Victoria in the museum looking at the tank that holds the sea creatures that have been donated. It looked a little sparse so I decided to dive around Hanabi and see what I could find. I didn’t catch the mysterious scallop but I did come up with a few new creatures.
Ok so this next one isn’t a sea creature, but its chirping was driving me nuts and I couldn’t find him—as evidenced by the swiss cheese that is now my town.
It was on one of my many trips from waaaaay down in the ocean waaaay back to Main Street to donate sea creatures that I decided we needed a bridge. I even put all my own money down for it. Be grateful townies! That’s 128,000 Bells out of my pocket!
That hideous green pattern on the ground is just a placeholder until I decide what paths I’d like. Thing is you can run on paths without damaging the grass beneath them. I like to run (when I’m not tripping). But I don’t like desert waste land towns. The compromise is the path.
Unfortunately It seems the tripping epidemic from yesterday is ongoing. I can’t run anywhere without biting the dust which may be good for the grass in the long run. Shep and I had a chat about luck last night. Supposedly my “fortune changes every single day”. But today feels a lot like yesterday: skinned up.
The Island Rain?
For those of you who think the island is a sunny tropical paradise where it never rains, well for the most part you’re correct. I got a rude awakening when I signed up for the “Ancient-Fish-Encoun-Tour”. Rain was coming down in buckets. All lightning flashes and thunder crashes. Tortimer didn’t even give me any rain boots.
Talkin’ With Townies
Tomorrow we’ll be getting Kitt. I had her in City Folk and she and her joey creeped me out. I think I’m gonna have to be a mean mayor and start laying the smack down. Can I unlock an eviction ordinance?
