Downtime Ugh
Sorry for the late post. My host was getting DOS attacks all day and I couldn’t post (or reach my site). I don’t think it’s quite resolved, but I’m crossing my fingers.
Stalk Market for Monday, May 13
AM: 121 Bells
PM: 120 Bells
Hmmm slow steady decline?
Let the Heckling Begin
I couldn’t take her pouty lips and green demeanor any longer. So last night I set about to piss off Jambette. I found that hitting her with a net was more difficult than I anticipated. Instead of walking up and whacking her, she would hear me coming and talk to me instead. Drat! So I took to stalking her like the giant green bug that she is. And then Wham! Whack! Ok. It’s a bit heartless of me, but I’m doing it for my sanity.
T & T Mart
Finally my wait for shopping is over! Timmy and Tommy’s brand new store reopened today, though there’s still construction going on down past the Able Sister’s. I’m overjoyed for two reasons:
- SLINGSHOT
- Catalog
Finally! I can sell some of the clothes I’ve been hoarding since I know I can order them again in the future. And oh balloons beware!
(Ugh why is Jambette following me around the store? How can I enjoy its newness? Its twin fortune cookies with a green shadow? Is she plotting revenge for the net whacking? This is why I’m usually nice to my neighbors…)
Badge Master
I know he’s technically the “badge man” but I’ve been calling him badge master for months and he looks like a scout master. Old habits die hard. Anyway, I saw him wandering in town square this morning so I stopped him and asked for a badge. He obliged and gave me the “Bronze Medalist” badge. Because I’ve gotten a lot of medals on the island. Those hibiscus aren’t going to buy themselves!
By the way, do I look a bit tan to you? I feel like I might be the tiniest bit tan.

Woo! Not quite enough island tours to get the 100 medal wallpaper I wanted. Maybe I’ll see it again someday…
Saharah
Who is this long-lashed camel wandering the paths of Hanabi? A trader in walls and carpets. I think we need to get her into ESL school, but hey my Japanese is just as bad so who am I to complain. For a mere 3,000 bells she offered to redo my front room. I took her up on her offer and we went off to my house or as she calls it my palace—I like the sound of that.
I stood outside while she pounded and hammered. When she was done she presented me with my remodeled palace. I’m digging the view. The floor, not so much. I think we’ll just put stuff back how it was shall we?
In other News
Looks like we’ve got a fishing tourney this weekend. I’ll have to practice my mad fishing skills. Perhaps by visiting the island in the evening for sharks. Two birds with one stone!
Wait, so does that mean you like Jambette even less than that new kangaroo townie of yours? Are you hoping to get her to move out?
Hi
So have you tried locally get connect online with your japanese version game?:-D Im curiuos – and really hope we can online between the 2 versions! yay!
Wait, so if you sell any items BEFORE you unlock the catalog, they won’t be there when you have access to it?
@anonymous That’s not what I’m saying at all. But if I *had* sold stuff I wouldn’t have been able to get it back *until* I got the catalog machine.
@Kaycee Yup. I dislike Jambette the most. I’d like to see her move. Sooooooon.
@Tama I’m not able to discuss connectivity until….tomorrow! So, just wait a little.
You have the NA version, correct? Not like, UK or something? Is it actually called Club LOL then? A lot of people have said it’s only been called Club LOL in the UK version thus far?
I have the NA copy provided by Nintendo.
@shoes
In both the NA and UK versions the club is called “Club LOL”. It’s only in the Japanese version that it’s not called club lol and is called “Club 444” which to some Asian cultures the number 4 means death so some players call it “Club Death-Death-Death”. If you still don’t understand then here’s a link to the Animal Crossing Wiki where I got all my information. Copy and paste this into your browser : http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Club_LOL
