Don’t they know today is a holiday in the US? The stalk market should be closed.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this resident is coming straight from Jisuna village (my husband’s Japanese town). According to the sign our new villager’s name is O’Hare (サントス in Japanese). That same townie moved out of Jisuna a few days ago. Kokuto was sad to see him go. At least he can visit him now.
Gulliver sure washes up on shore a lot. He took forever to wake up today and his quiz was super easy.

Not a very good change
Soleil finally asked me to change her catchphrase. And I froze. She’s been saying tarnation for so long that it’s growing on me. I didn’t know what else would fit her. So I told her to say “darntootin” instead.
Soleil also decided that we need a brick bridge in town. I still have to pay off the lighthouse. I think I need to raise taxes in this hamlet. I’ll have to talk to Isabelle about that.
