Stalk Market for Friday, June 7
AM: 68 Bells
PM: 64 Bells
Just because we didn’t have any special visitors in Hanabi today does not mind I didn’t find plenty to occupy my time. Some of it wasn’t all that fun. For instance:
I talked to Lyle
I’ve been expanding my house quite a bit (and cramming stuff into every nook and cranny—no pun intended) and I was curious what the happy home academy thought about erm my design sense. I asked Lyle for the scoop. Ten minutes later…Here are a few highlights of the conversation.

You get more points for having red carnations in your house the entire month of June, so if you don’t want to care for your father’s day flowers, put them in your house.
Sloppy Furniture!
This may not seem like a big deal to you, but I’ve been playing New Leaf for 8 months now and I’ve only seen one piece of sloppy furniture (2 now). The only way you can get it is by having townies put it up for sale at Re-Tail. So if you see one, snap it up and don’t sell it. You can’t purchase the items from your catalog.
So, maybe I’ve just have really clean townies…or not.
Best Coffee Slinger in Town
I’m sure I wouldn’t enjoy my part time work nearly as much if I didn’t have a guide, but I love listening to Brewster’s shocked reaction when customers tell me my coffee is better than his. You can barely see the surprised reaction and I can’t capture it with a picture. Trust me, it’s priceless.
And over in the corner watching me toil was none other than Kapp’n himself. I’m almost surprised he didn’t try to get me to sit on his lap.
Movin’ on…down?
My nightly fishing/bug catching habit has yielded enough bells to pay off the expansion of my back room. I should have taken pictures. It’s so spacey! Tomorrow. I then was coerced into ordered a basement. I hope luck rooms can be in the basement… I’ll have to get cracking on that. I don’t know how much luck a 4×4 room can hold though. And it’s another pricey addition (I guess there is heavy machinery involved what with excavating it and all). The new basement set me back another 428,000 bells.
Julian? Where are You?
Just in case you think I’m over my unicorn craze, I’m totally not. I just couldn’t find him all day. I think it’s because I pestered him so much yesterday. I finally tracked him down in the museum watching the fish. All’s right with the world.
Citizen Dissatisfaction
As a final blow to my cheery day I asked Shizue what the masses thought about Hanabi. Here’s what she had to say:
Ok. I’ll admit I’ve been leaving bushes and saplings, um, everywhere. I was hoping because they were green it wouldn’t count against me. Apparently it does. So I rented a display room in the museum to store them while I solidify my landscaping plans. We’ll just call it the “nature” room.
After cleaning up I talked to Isabelle again and got:
Last time there weren’t enough public works. Now there aren’t enough flowers. In truth we do have several bare spots throughout town. Guess I will continue buying those flower seeds from the garden store after all. Fate’s a bit excessive don’t you think? No pressure.
Outtakes
BTW tomorrow is Jambette’s last day!

Do you have the QR for your lovely path? I really like it. Thanks
Thank you so much for posting all this Animal Crossing stuff! …That’s all…sorry… 🙂
You’re welcome. Lol. 🙂
The one from Hanabi is from a JP magazine. I haven’t scanned it. Sorry.
