Stalk Market for Saturday, June 8
AM: 55 Bells
PM: 90 Bells
One more day! (for US readers—or a few more hours if you’re downloading) unless you were fortunate enough to be at the Nintendo World store this morning. We really need a California branch of that, Nintendo! Not that I have any room to complain about the waiting thing, I just really want to be able to visit a super awesome Nintendo hangout without having to fly to New York. I digress.
Julian’s Magical House
I was finally able to sneak a peak of Julian’s house. It’s very spacey and regal. And his stereo plays stale cupcakes. I just love him more and more every day.
Jambette’s Packing Up
Being the (mostly) kindhearted mayor that I am, I stopped off to wish Jambette well on her journey. Ok, I’ll admit it took some coaxing by Isabelle, but still, I went, I said goodbye and I didn’t hit her with a net or hammer.
Small Lucky Basement
I got my basement today and it’s tiny. I put a few things in it and it’s packed. So naturally I paid it off with my fishing/bug earnings and asked Nook to make it bigger. This feels like a bad pyramid scheme to me.
Citizen Dissatisfaction Part 2
After planting the few flowers from the garden center I decided to see what Isabelle had heard from the citizens about Hanabi. I expected the “we need more greenery!” talk again. Instead she said we needed more public works projects. I decided to put in a street lamp. I really want the zen (I don’t know the English translation) street lamp, but no one has requested it yet, so I’m considering this a placeholder.
Knowing there were a few souls out there who got there copy of ACNL already, I opened my gates. My new friend Chimera from Thebes came over and checked out the town.
Then someone else came over that I’d never met. He’s another of the mayors from Nintendo’s Mayor program. He didn’t stay long. Or say much…Maybe it was cause I whacked him with a hammer? I was just playing! Sorry!
I hope to see a lot of you soon!
