Stalk Market for Friday, October 18
AM: 170 Bells
PM: 235 Bells!!
Too bad I don’t have any turnips to sell. BTW if anyone is desperate to sell my store will be open for a few hours, so message me on twitter. @sosostris.
Despite the fact that I swear nothing is going on in Hanabi I still have 68 pictures to sift through.
Yesterday we did have Saharah. Satoshi-kun was kind enough to give me the last wallpaper I needed, so I really don’t need anything from Saharah anymore. I still let her redo Vella’s front room. I don’t know why as she’s never impressed me, but…
I finally managed to pick up the latest Nintendo Zone DLC, the sushi platter. I’m a bit confused about whether it’s a regular item, or if it only shows up in Japanese copies of Animal Crossing. I swear I had it in Kasen village’s Nook’s before, but I don’t think I had it in Hanabi. Unfortunately I didn’t check my catalog before I picked it up, so who knows. It is orderable. If anyone needs one (in case they are JP only and any EU friends might need them?) just let me know.
Makes me hungry! I haven’t had dinner yet. 🙁
More Gold Nuggets
In my latest gold furniture crafting session with Cyrus I got something that I sort of needed. He made a gold table. I had one in Kasen, but not in Hanabi. Yumi has it on display in a museum exhibit, so Vella had never cataloged it. I call that a win. Still need that closet though.
Today in Hanabi
Today was all about doing requests for townies again. I didn’t have any visitors, not even a camper. So I ran around getting fruit for Tia, buying unwanted items off of Julian and getting signatures for Rooney’s “Against Judging Faces” petition.
Rooney rewarded me with his picture. Which would be great if I didn’t already have it. I wish he would have rewarded me with one of the Zen PWPs I still need.
Speaking of which, I should never be left to my own devices without visitors or anything going on because I tend to think things like “sure, we can put in that quarter of a million bell Moai statue. It’ll look great behind the cherry orchard by my house.” And that’s exactly what I did. I may also have sold all my cherries and stolen all of Kasen’s perfect peaches to pay for it. But that could just be a vicious rumor spread by Soleil.
Tia wanted to visit today as well and I set an alarm for an hour after she asked, intending to make pumpkin pie pudding in the meantime. I thought an hour would be plenty of time, but the sugar for the candied walnuts refused to melt, and my alarm went off as I was making them. I still turned on the 3DS and waited in my house for her (stirring all the while) but once she arrived I didn’t have a chance to take her from room to room or talk to her and she just left. I think she’ll probably send me a crappy gift in the mail, but at least I showed up!
And that’s about it. Ciao!
