We need More Dancing Happening
Usual past few days in Hanabi. I visited O’Hare because he really wanted me to see the travesty that is his house. House sucks? Dancing helps. Test looming? ditto.
The only thing dancing doesn’t help with? Snow.
We haven’t seen any of the nasty white stuff in Hanabi yet, but over in Quantico yesterday where it was, due to temporal anomalies, November 30th, there were flurries. Nothing stuck, but the time to break out your ugly sweaters is fast approaching.
I know they’ve had sweater Sunday going on for quite a while. I’m hoping to create a few ugly beauties for my townies to wear around town. Since I suck at designing anything I’m starting with this sweater tutorial from Animal Crossing Apparel. I’ll keep you posted when I get something suitably hideous to talk about.
Mmmm Spicy Curry
I also had Gulliver yesterday. He was obviously trying to get to India, but I sent him astray again for the tasty chocolate coin souvenir. I sure hope all his traveling is for pleasure and he’s not delivering black market kidneys or something. Because if so, they’re a little late…
Rude Drop In
I like a good townie visit as much as the next mayor, but it seems like they always barge in when I’m trying to turn a room into a masterpiece and not when I’m just sitting around in my house (not that I ever just sit around in my house).
Rooney was the offending townie. He got the message that I was kind of in the middle of something and only rambled a little bit before handing me a washer/dryer and leaving. Apparently the mayor stink eye is effective.
What was I working on? My sloppy, nasty, dirty basement/kitchen that no one in their right mind would want to eat in despite the cute kitchen items left over from Thanksgiving in Quantico. (I still need butter when Thanksgiving hits Hanabi)
As you can see, it’s a work in progress and the bottom half of it is still covered with balloons. I’m not in a rush to finish it mostly because I don’t have the furniture with which to finish it.
Today in Hanabi
Redd! The tease was back in town. This time his legitimate painting was the fine painting. I don’t need it in Hanabi or Kasen, so if anyone out there does need it, let me know.
I was surprised to see Redd because when I asked Booker he just mentioned that we had a camper.
I think our camper was pretty awesome, but I don’t know about the catchphrase “sweatband”. And I don’t even see a sweatband. Maybe a very vivid bandit mask.
To Quantico we Go
I may have taken a little pre-vacation vacation over to Quantico today and done some pre-season fishing (I’m completely freaking out right now irl so a little cheating as stress relief is ok by me). It’s December 1st there so I went and sought out a few fish. I didn’t see a stringfish while I was there but I did find a pond smelt and a sea butterfly. I may also have checked out their camper. I’m so glad she’s not in Hanabi. She makes Kitt look tame.
And that’s all for now. Last post before hiatus will be Friday. Don’t forget about me though. When I get back I think I’m going to do a giveaway for some RL items. I’ve got a duplicate Animal Crossing stylus and an extra copy of Hometown Story both of which could use good homes. I just have to figure out parameters for a giveaway. Random? Haikus? Most sloppy item donations wins? I dunno. The biggest question of all: Do I ship internationally? *shrug*
Ciao.
Wow I don’t know why but I really like your sloppy kitchen 😀
And have a good “vacation” 🙂
I looked through your blog and I like it! you have a funny sense of writing. I hope you have a good vacation!
-those prefect cherries *cries* I need those-
Thank you. 🙂 Maybe after I get back I can open up Hanabi for a perfect fruit swap. 😉
Thank you!
That would be awesome ;w; 😀
Haha! I’ve had Mathilda living in my town since the beginning (July, in my case). After her asking to move out twice and reconsidering both times, I finally got her to move out a few days ago. Funny to see she turned up in your town now!
Have a great vacation!
