Stalk Market for Whatever day this is
Well, I think it’s Sunday, but I didn’t play early enough to catch Joan.
Let me preface this post by saying that I’m not home yet. I should be home sometime tomorrow (traffic gods willing) but for now I’m chilling in the hotel room in the OC and for the first time in a week I have a little down time and don’t feel so exhausted that I don’t want to look at the computer.
Museum Stuff
Just before I set off on this “vacation” my friend Rachael from ACUKE let me know that she had a motherly statue—the last statue Hanabi needed for its art wing. I picked it up and didn’t get to stay and visit (I always feel bad when that happens). She didn’t want anything in return, but is looking for an apato tail for her museum. I’ve been trying to dig up my fossils every day since then, but I haven’t come across one. Does anyone out there have one for sale or trade?

Stopping by the town of Lavender to pick up the motherly statue. I love the pikachu dress! So adorable. Thank you Rachael!
Now I just need a few more paintings for Kasen. I’ve seen Redd a couple times in Kasen and Hanabi but he hasn’t had anything new for Kasen. Scheming fox!
Birthdays!
Hanabi celebrated two birthdays since I’ve been gone. Tia’s birthday was the 18th. I gave her a shearling coat. I think maybe because it has long sleeves she didn’t put it on immediately, but she seemed to like the gift. She displayed it prominently and began talking about her obsession with clothes in the following days.
Today, the 24th, was Shep’s birthday. It was a little nerve-wracking because I forgot about it. I had to do a little research to find out what he liked, but since I didn’t feel like waiting until 5pm for his gift I had Hotch over in Quantico order him something. Unfortunately Hotch’s catalog is quite limited, so he got a paper lantern. I like to give villagers clothes as birthday gifts because I like to see them strutting about in them, but Hotch didn’t have anything Shep would have liked.
Felicity also reminded me that Locke’s birthday is coming up soon (December 9 iirc) so I need to play her every day until then and try and get her friendship up. I don’t know if there’s enough time, but I’ll try. I still need a few of the birthday items. Maybe when I get home I’ll add them to my wish list…
PWPs
Rooney finally suggested the Zen Bell as a project. Maybe he was getting jealous of me trying to schmooze with the cranky octopus. I ran over to Isabelle and had her demolish the existing wedding-type bell, but before I did I tried to take a picture of the Zen Bell for blogging—but all she would show me were town hall and station remodels which means that Hanabi has hit its 30 project limit. 🙁 There’s not too much else I really want to put in. I’m hoping to have the Zen Clock requested, but I’d like to put that where the tiki torch is.
Who are you again?
I see the badge man so infrequently these days that when I do it’s really cause for celebration. I ran into him while playing hide-and-seek the other day and it took all my willpower to find the other hiders before talking to him.
Miscellany
Other than that, I had Redd, Gulliver, and Saharah. I visited and was visited. Soleil got sick. Julian threatened to move. Felicity threatened to move. I doled out perfect fruit to anyone who asked for any fruit (I’m low on perfect pears and would love to do a perfect fruit exchange in the coming weeks). No one gave me their picture. Still working on Julian, Felicity, Tia, and Octavian.
Time to go see my mom for dinner. Maybe tomorrow I’ll make a short post about Kasen. I’m so excited about their new resident, but I’m out of time.
Tata!
P.S. I received a US copy of Animal Crossing New Leaf from Nintendo. Thanks, Nintendo!
P.P.S. Sorry if I haven’t responded to comments. It’s been a crazy week!
Jennifer, I have perfect pears – I’ll save you a basket. I’ll catch you sometime on ACUKE.
MerryNoel
I reached the 30 pwp’s limit a long time ago, I wish I could put in 2/3 projects I really like ;_;
