Stalk Market for Friday, January 10
AM: 132 bells
PM: TBD
Yesterday was kind of a weird ACNL day for me. The AM stalk price in Kasen was 440 bells. I quickly sold the 1400 turnips I had on hand. Never trust my stalk predictions though. Remember when I said that I bet the pm price on Wednesday would fall? It didn’t. Wednesday’s pm price shot up to 109 bells. Thursday’s AM price was higher still at 182, but since I was able to sell what I had for 440 I didn’t really care. But then it spiked to 345 in the afternoon…so I did what anyone with 3 copies of New Leaf and the ability to get one town to Sunday quickly would do. I bought and sold until Phineas showed up with the gold turnip badge roughly 3 million bells later.

Don’t be. I totally cheated. I’m gonna go gorge myself on brownies now to make me feel guilty over something else.
In other news…
We had a camper. It was Deli the monkey. I had him in Kasen as a resident and I wasn’t interested in getting him for Hanabi. I would love an uchi camper of any sort (except maybe Hazel. I had her. My husband has her. I’m kind of over those eyebrows.)
I also had a lost item. Sadly it didn’t belong to Tia (hand over your picture, tea cup!), or Julian who seemed to ping me every time I walked by yesterday carrying a pocketful of turnips. I went to his house. He came to my house and then sent me a letter telling me how messy it was—I prefer the term natural, Julian. There are mushrooms scattered on the ground for effect! I digress. The pouch didn’t belong to Rooney either. I finally found its owner, Felicity. It was her makeup bag. Apparently that’s where she stores her garish blush.
In addition to the high stalk prices in both towns Kasen was buying perfect oranges for double. Quantico has perfect oranges. I may have looted and pillaged after scamming Joan.
Bunnie made me feel a little less slimy about my financial dealings by getting my mind off of money and onto…trapeze artistry?

I would totally take Lillian/Bunnie in English and have two of her. <3[/caption]
Kokuto is a bit behind in New Leaf, so yesterday was New Year's Eve in his game. I went over for the countdown, schmoozed with his villagers, and got another New Year's Noodles. I have a few extra for trade (I would love another holiday stocking…)
[caption id="attachment_10261" align="aligncenter" width="400"] Oh no you didn’t, Sheldon!

Kokuto’s newest townie is Rodney. He’s kind of a funny looking little hamster, but cute in his own way.
Today in Hanabi
First off O’Hare suggested a grown up game of hide-and-seek. He actually hid pretty well. Octavian, sorry buddy. Red octopus in a field of blue flowers, not so sneaky.
I went down to the beach making sure no one was hidden behind a palm tree and saw that we had Gulliver. I got him in touch with his wild side. I wonder if he’ll have tattoos or fangs or something next time he shows up.
I got my last piece of snowman furniture in the mail today: a snowman table. So I constructed a snowmam. She only wants 3 snowflakes in exchange for a piece of the ice set, so I’ve gotten four pieces already today. I only need four more to go and since it’s snowing and snowflakes are relatively easy to find I may try and get the rest tonight.
I still have to visit Kasen later today and catalog the things Yumi ordered for Vella. And try my hand at bingo. I need 1 number in 2 different spots, so I may get lucky. Tomorrow I’ll start crafting my own snowmen to increase my odds. I’d love multiple lift chairs to make a good ski slope room. I’m getting a bit sick of the space room in the back.
And that’s about it for now. New Japanese class starts Monday night through a new language school, so it’s quite possible I’ll be shuffling my posting days around and may post on Saturday or Sunday instead of Monday.
Woah! you play three different towns? However do you manage?
@Grape I so don’t manage. I mostly just play Hanabi and Kasen. Quantico was supposed to be a themed town, but it’s mostly fallen into despair as I let weeds grow and go pick them once in a while when Leif shows up. Truth be told I don’t play it very much.
