The first dress I decided to make out of the 6/7 2014 issue of ぴこぷり is a dress to ward off rainy days—in Japan the rainy season starts in June. The ghost on the dress is known as Teru Teru Bozu. Kids make these out of tissue paper and hang them up when they want a sunny day. It must work because while I made the dress it was raining in Hanabi and when I went to take pictures of it, it had stopped. I hope it works for you too!
