My first public works project in Happy Home Designer was a new school. I only had a few guidelines to follow:
- 1 teacher’s desk
- 4 student desks
- 4 student chairs
Afterward the Tom Nook housing staff came over to break in the chairs and fall asleep during the lectures.

I finished designing the school!
Then we held a brief party where I mistimed my picture taking. Some things never change. And then the actual students came in to learn…stuff.
Carrie’s House
My next project was to design the inside and the outside of a house. I freaked out because I thought Carrie/マミッ was Kitt, but she’s not. I still don’t really like kangaroos, but I still tried to give her what she wanted, which was a home and garden where kids could play.
Muffy’s House
The next plot I designed was for Muffy/フリル the sheep. I have her in my Japanese New Leaf town (ã‹ã›ã‚“) and I was excited to give her the goth-lolita home of her dreams.

[caption id="attachment_12500" align="aligncenter" width="400"] I don’t have much in the way of outdoor furniture yet, and the bench isn’t very goth-loli, but she seems happy in her purply winter wonderland.
Caroline’s House
This is my favorite house to date just because it was fun and silly to do. Caroline/ã‚ャãƒãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ³ came to me wanting an “American Country” house and I don’t think she quite expected what she got.
Public Work: The Store
Isabelle let me choose between a hospital, restaurant, or store. I thought the store might be the easiest and after a bit of help from viewers on twitch I went with a candy store theme. I feel like I could have made a better store, but it’ll do for now. I didn’t get many good pics of it either :/
