Yesterday the evening price spiked to 518 bells. Unfortunately I wasn’t home for most of the day and was uncomfortably numb from the dentist for most of the day so not many people got to take advantage of it.

Before I get to party shots from today, here’s what’s happened since I blogged last.
Gulliver sent me Matryoshka from Russia
Felicity moved in from Kasen and immediately started inflating my ego.
I met Resetti’s brother Don. That place has been open a lot!
Shrunk put himself to sleep with a joke.
I returned Barold’s lost mitten and he gave me his picture!
A couple friends came over last night.
We couldn’t time cliff diving to save our souls
And I paid off the hot spring. Whew. It was a busy few days.
Today in Hanabi
Before everyone came over I visited Isabelle and got my ladder shades.
Then I ran over to check on our new hot spring behind town hall and ran into Phineas. He gave me the turnip trader badge for profiting from the stalk market. I’ve got a ways to go before I make a lot of money on it. I’m much too timid buying turnips.

Then as I was wandering about I ran into Phineas again and got the Happy Homer Gold Badge. I finally completed my balloon set raising my point total. 🙂

Wow it was a busy day! Thanks to everyone who came over! I didn’t know when I chose to host today that it was a holiday, but I loved taking pictures in the cardboard cutout with everyone!

I’m torn about whether to do this with Kasen or not. The big disadvantage to opening up Kasen is that I would have to add everyone there. 😛 I mostly just added people to my US 3DS for this. And IMO Hanabi is prettier. I didn’t know what the heck I was doing when I started Kasen and it doesn’t have well-placed shrubs. Lolly (ラムãƒï¼‰ mangled my one path and Kasen is very overrun with flowers and in need of TLC. But it does have Tokyo tower…and Lillian. 😉 and a single blue rose. (Did I mention that here? I did on tumblr.)
We’ll just do Hanabi for now, I guess. I’ll try to open again next week. Tentatively the same time(s).
And now I need an AC break and some dinner that I don’t have to chew much…
